The silicone tube has the following characteristics:
Heat resistance: It has better heat resistance than the hose made of traditional rubber, and can be used at 150°C for a long period of time without changing its performance. The silicone tube can be used continuously for 10000 hours at 200°C and for a period of time at 350°C.
Low temperature resistance: The silicone tube still has good flexibility at -60℃, and some flexible silicone tubes made of specially formulated silicone rubber materials can also work at very low temperatures.
Weather resistance: Ordinary rubber tube will degrade rapidly under the action of ozone, while silicone tube is ozone resistant.
Electrical performance: Silicone rubber has high resistivity, and its resistance remains stable within a wide range of temperatures and frequencies.
Thermal conductivity:Silicone rubber may have thermal conductivity if added with some thermal fillers.
Radiation: Silicone tube containing silicon greatly improves its radiation resistance. Flammability: Silicone rubber is flammable, but will be flame retardant and self extinguishing if added with a small amount of flame retardant.
Hydrolysis resistance: Since silicone rubber is hydrophobic, and thus the silicone tube can be used for a long period of time in hot water at 100°C and hot steam at 200°C or lower.
